Congratulations to graduates of College Department with their graduation theme:
“Nunc Coepi (Now I Start)” – held last April 2, 2016 at DBC Gymnasium.
The 49th Commencement Exercises starts with a Baccalaureate Mass at Diocesan Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at 2:05 in the afternoon followed by Graduation Rites at DBC Gymnasium. The graduation rites started with procession of graduates, parents, magisterium, guest speaker Mr. Ramon C. Taniola, and salesians. Ms. Renalin Q. Delostrico led the signing of the Philippine National Anthem a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Religious Education and Pastoral Communications followed by conferment of degrees by the college dean Fr. Nestor S. Pidazo, SDB. Mr. Ramon C. Taniola, MBA gave the graduates a very inspirational message.
Graduates received the scholastic awards were, Br. Paul Aldrin P. Dunca (SDB-n) – AB Philosophy received the highest honor the Summa Cum Laude and graduates with honorable mention award were Br. Manuel A. Entigro (SDB-n) – AB Philosophy, Herbert P. Aninion (CSS) – AB Philosophy, Norielgar A. Hernando (CSS) – AB Philosophy, Cleofe May M. Adsuara – BSEd-REPC, Amor A. Gervacio – BSED-REPC, John Josua R. Descallar – BSEd-REPC, Rex Dennielle E. De Jesus – BSEd-English, Maribel M. Descallar – BSEd-REPC, Romeo Manuel P. Santos – BSEd-English, and John Ladice S. Tumbagahon – BSEd-English.
John Hubert V. Bagtas – BSEd-REPC and Jade Idah C. Villadolid – BSEd-REPC received the Servant-Leadership Award (Dean’s Medal), John Ladice S. Tumbagahon – BSEd-English and Lawrence D. Montesa – BTTE-Mech Tech received the Best Student-Teacher Award. The Best Thesis Award was received by John Wylie T. Bondoc – BSEd English, Menilio E. Rosete Jr. – BSEd-English, Cleofe May M. Adsuara – BSEd-REPC, Amor A. Gervacio – BSEd-REPC, and Aiko A. Landicho – BSEd-REPC. The Best Capstone was awarded to Cris Daniel P. Corocoto – BSIT and Joseph Mervi V. Pacayo – BSIT while the Loyalty Award was given to Paul Christian F. Co – BSEd-English, Christian F. Ligutan – BTTE-Automotive, and Karl P. Petate – BSEd-English.
The graduation rites ended with a batch song and picture taking. The program ended at exactly 7:26 PM.
